Central Alabama Gun Club
This is a private, members-only range.
Memberships are available. All events and matches are open to the public. Facilities include 14 pistol bays, 100 & 300 yard rifle ranges, a falling plate pistol bay, one rimfire and one pistol steel bay, an archery range, a shotgun pavilion (machines are on order), and an air conditioned clubhouse. Restrooms are available. The range is located roughly 14 miles east of Montgomery, near Shorter, Alabama.

***Steel Challenge has two new Match Directors. Please welcome Lanna Woods and Scott Rouse. Steel Challenge, August 9, 2025. Register on Practiscore. Be at the clubhouse at 0900, pre-match briefing and safety brief. Shooting begins at 1000. Costs: $20.00 and then $5.00 for each additional gun. Setup Friday August 8, Time to be determined. Help with the setup and you shoot free the next day. Scott Rouse or Lanna Woods for more info.***

There is a four page form that you must complete (you must complete EACH PAGE before it will allow you to advance to the next page). NOTE: Renewing on line will cost you $172.82 ($12.82 dollars to cover the credit card and membership processing). It will accept your credit/debit card only. It isn't perfect, but its what we have right now.***

1. On Club meeting days the gate opens for visitors and prospective new members. Membership applications can be completed and submitted for membership at the meeting. New members join fee: $100.00 initiation fee + prorated annual dues determined by the month you join (check or cash only).
2. CAGC members check out the new bulletin board on the members' page. This page provides a place to advertise and shop for firearms and accessories.
